I am a full time worker who has a passion for all things food. I love the Food Network, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel, cooking, baking, and finding /writing new recipes to test out on my unsuspecting coworkers (but you know they love it),and traveling based on where my tastebuds take me. I am not a professionally trained chef, or even a restaurant trained cook, however if my current career (which I love) ever had to end I would definately go to culinary school and start up my own business, probably a bakery specializing in cakes. At least that it what I tell myself since that seems to be my passion right now. I'm doing what I can to self teach myself cake decorating. It's not always pretty, but I'm getting there. I'm always open to suggestions and questions about my recipes. It should also be noted that the current photo that I have up for my blog is NOT something that I created. However, it is definately one of the best things I have ever eaten in my life. The credit has to got to the Havana Blue Restaurant on St. Thomas, USVI. The chef created a speacial vegetarian dish for me for our wedding dinner. SO DELICIOUS!!!
